Sane began with a family name carried from West Africa to Switzerland.
What started with a simple print on a bag became a growing movement built around balance, movement and feeling good - not pressure and performance.
We believe sport should feel healthy.
Clothing should feel natural.
And life should feel sane.

WHY SANE?

Sane is the family name of founders Cédric and David.

The name originates from Senegal, where it was originally written differently before their father moved to Switzerland and simplified it on his Swiss passport.

That is how the name Sane was created.

For Cédric, it was always clear that one day he would build a brand around that name - inspired by founders who turned their names into timeless identities.

It became more than a surname.
It became a philosophy.

A reminder to stay balanced, healthy and grounded in a world built around pressure and extremes.

Just being sane.

ROOTS

Inspired by Senegalese and Ivorian heritage, the name “SANÉ” carries identity, culture, and origin. It’s complemented by roots in St. Niklaus, Valais — creating a unique connection between West African heritage and Swiss tradition, both shaping who we are.
